Sniffles McGee

I have now entered into week THREE of being sick. This is a milestone for me. I cannot remember ever being sick for this long in my life. It started as an innocent sinus cold. Then my roommate Kelly got sick. We could not figure out how she got sick since we don't drink after each other or anything that should have given her my cold. Then we remembered the cat. Oh Riley. We both love the cat, and he snuggles with both of us! He had to be the carrier!

Kelly, meanwhile, starts to get better.... but here I am. Week three. Still in the same boat....I personally blame it on the weather. It is 70 degrees and humid and rainy one day, and 39 degrees with freezing cold wind the next. How am I supposed to get well in those conditions?!?

So, in the meantime, I will try to make it through Christmas sniffling, coughing, and stuffy.

IT'S LIKE BREAKING IN NEW SHOES

So I have yet to write on here. I created this months ago, then felt like I had nothing to say, then forgot about it, then remembered, felt again that I had nothing to say, and forgot about it again. But, I figured that at some point, you gotta put your big girl pants on, and do it. It has reminded me of when you get new shoes. You know you need to break them in, but that is silly. I mean what would you do, wear them when you get home for an hour or so for a few days to break 'em in so you don't get blisters? Who has time for that? So, instead you (if you are like me), just dive in head first and wear them for a day. Now you may end up with blisters, but you got it over in one day. Not that I think writing on here will give me blisters.....it's just something I had to dive into.
